“The work that Ami did was truly transformational and has left a lasting mark on IBM’s developer program with the developer centers still going strong today, many times over. It also primed the landscape for successful cross organizational efforts (and Signature Design Projects) such as Perfect Storm – a marriage of developerWorks, Rational devOps services and developerWorks; as well as SmartCloud exchange – and end-to-end solution for on-boarding new SaaS offerings to the IBM Marketplace.”
Dibbe Edwards, VP, Watson IoT Connected Products Offering Management, Delivery, and Support
Project next was an initiative at IBM to evolve the IBM developer digitial experience to more effectively reach, and engage IT practitioners. Leveraging a common publishing platform, product development teams are responsible for driving awareness and supporting users of their offering, while it is the responsibility of the core program team to guide and nurture these stakeholders such that they acheive their goals.
The dW playbook is a compilation of best practices, how tos, standards, and perspectives designed to guide developerWorks stakeholders. I organized the site via two paths, “What’s this all about?”, or “I’m on board now, how do I…?” It was designed and built using the same theme as the very platform it supports, demonstrating the flexibility and extensibility of the dW framework.
