The Sisco Foundation is a local North Carolina nonprofit organization that was started by two breast cancer survivors. Every year, the Sisco Foundation, as well as local television personalities, hosts a tennis tournament, Raise a racquet, as well as, a 5K run to drive awareness and raise money for breast cancer prevention and support.
I produced the collateral for the events, as well as designed and maintained the website from 2002-2007. My aim was to make the design very feminine and inviting to women, incorporating plenty of pink to align with the motto – Paint the town pink. I am currently a member of the board of directors for the Sisco Foundation.
