What was really nice about Seabrook is how close it was to Charleston so when the day started off a little dreary we just hopped in the car. It rained a bit on the drive but as soon as we arrived things cleared up. We toured the SC Aquarium and it was really nice, I was surprised at how kid friendly it was too – I don’t know why that surprised me, but it surpassed my expectations and the kids had a great time. I think the highlight for me was the albino alligator, very cool. Afterwards we stopped at a great little bakery where Connor got a XL cookie (larger than his head) and Cailee had an equally indulgent chocolate shake. And we capped the afternoon by catching the last seats on the last carriage tour of the day. Connor used it as for naptime, but the rest of us enjoyed it. Another fun but full day for the books.
