This was the story of this past week. We got some snow (about an inch x 2) and a lot of freezing rain and that made for a nasty frozen mix that lasted all week long. The kids missed all but three hours of school this week and we were all about to go crzzy…
And so dance competition season begins again. We had a costume rehearsal on Saturday and as always, seeing Cailee dance in her sweet little costumes makes all the running to and from practices (and the crazy money we spend on the sparkly tulle) worth it. So precious and beautiful is my forever little girl.

We had a great Christmas (more on that later) and are now enjoying the unseasonably warm weather that has graced us with it’s presence this weekend. It’s not supposed to last too long (might be some snow this week), but it was a good chance for the kids to get acquainted with their new bikes…
I’m not sure what’s going on here exactly. The Christmas music is on point and Cailee is trying to coax something out of Connor but it’s not clear what that might be.
