The first week of October kicked off with fieldtrips for both kiddos. It’s pretty much tradition that Aldersgate goes to Ganyard Hill Farms. Although I looked forward to the time alone with Connor, it felt a little strange not having to keep up with both kids. I still get a little weepy when I think about the fact that Cailee has aged out of preschool fieldtrips.
It never ceases to amaze me at how different Connor is from Cailee. In years past, Cailee always wanted to play in the corn pit, Connor was just obsessed with the tractors. We ran from one tractor to another tractor. We rode the hayride twice, we drove the old wooden truck, we barely picked a pumpkin (first one we saw) and then we capped off the event with some more tractors.
