This year we decided to try out Hillridge Farms, Youngsville, NC. Apparently, EVERYONE else did too. We’ve since heard that its like this for the entire month of October so apparently it wasn’t just the fact that we picked the same weekend as everyone else – apparently – we picked the same pumpkin patch as everyone else.
To top matters off – it happened to be 80 degrees – not exactly the kind of weather that makes you think Fall and Halloween, but we made the best of it just the same. There was a train (a big hit despite the 45 minute wait), a large slide out of corrugated piping, a tunnel of similar material, a hayride and more.
Just my luck – I brought my camera with a dead battery – so we were back to relying on the iPhone to snap a few memories. Oh, and not a single picture of a pumpkin.
