Dance wasn’t the only thing winding down (and to be fair, dance only takes a two week break and then the kids are back at it again), Soccer was wrapping up and it was the last day of school for some very ready kiddos. Connor was finished just before memorial day (and had a snow day – pictures are coming) and Cailee was done Kindergarten on June 11. I can’t believe it – if this is how every year is going to fly by these kids will be graduated and out of the house before I know it. Cailee did really well in school this year – I’m just so shocked that my little girl went to school barely knowing all her letters and came out reading and writing as she did – pretty impressive for Kindergarten. And she passed with flying colors! Connor also came a long way, I remember at two years old being really worried because he didn’t talk much and yet this year he really came out of his shell – if you told anyone that he wasn’t much of a talker they wouldn’t believe you now. And he will make friends with anyone – loves to join in with other kids.

And the little girl is Addison – Cailee’s bestie from Kindergarten who also happened to be on her soccer team – they got to be really close this year – it was great to watch their friendship blossom.
