Soccer has kicked off again and every year Cailee gets a little bit more into it. It’s crazy to see how far she’s come from the young timid girl that just danced around at the back of the pack daydreaming, to now the girl that is charging the ball and getting upset if she’s not scoring enough. She’s gotten lucky to be on the strikers the past two seasons. Her coach is excellent and has a real knack for teaching actual soccer skills, plays yet makes it fun, which is exactly what this age needs. He has totally brought her out of her shell. She’s one of the leading scorers on her team and definitely the best girl for her age. Next year should be interesting, Connor can start in the fall (look out!), and Cailee will be once again the youngest in an older age group.
