Sunday was a pretty low key day. We made it to church, and then hunkered down in the AC to try and beat the heat. JJ took Cailee to the shop to do a little car work (preparing the beater to sell it) and I spent too much time trying to find a bug in my blog code that was causing the blackberry to not render a drop shadow (have I mentioned how many BB users will care? Zero. Actually, have I mentioned how many BB viewers I have of this blog? You guessed it – Zero, but still a bug is aptly named a bug and it was BUGGING me).

Post naps and car repairs (no fix for the blog, that came much later this evening), we spent some good old fashioned family time on the screen porch, at the shaved ice shop, in our backyard. It was nice. The kiddos were in good spirits and giggles were a plenty (especially when prompted by prolonged tickling).

Funny story – If you are a fan of My Little Pony (ok, I doubt most of you are real familiar with this show), you know that the ponies all aspire to get their cutie mark. This is the stamp on their rear flank (I think that’s the right horse lingo) that indicates their specialty or uniqueness. It isn’t on all the ponies – just the special ones. Any-who, flash forward to real life and Cailee noticed the tattoo I have on my hip. She got so excited that mommy had a cutie mark – and wondered how she can get a cutie mark too. Uh oh – might have started something…
