So I think this is it for the pictures. And I don’t know what more to say about them – except (this can be in honor of all the traffic circles in Hilton Head) – “Look kids, it’s the beach again”.

Almost every day, at least Cailee participated in the art activity at the beach club. She painted, did sand art, created a sun catcher and tie-dyed a tee-shirt. Connor painted an aligator ceramic black, many coats of black. It’s a wonder that thing ever dried (that will tell you the power of the southern air).

Just on a whim one afternoon we made the trek over to Savannah. Savannah was the site of our first honeymoon so it holds a special place in our hearts. Better yet, the kids took a quick nap on the drive there so we reminiced about life (well) before kids. We had a good dinner right on the river, and while you would have expected Connor to be most excited about the huge cargo ships coming through port – it was the trolley he was obsessed with. He thought it was a train and riding the “train” turned out to be the highlight of his night (potentially the week).
