I remembered at the last minute that every week there was a kids fishing tournament at the marina. It was a little sticky outside (well actually, a lot sticky) and Connor wasn’t really into it, but Cailee ended up persisting and catching a little fish (I forget what they called it – something like an ugly toad fish…? Ok, I really don’t remember). It wasn’t quite large enough to win an award so we had to make up with ice cream for breakfast (or maybe/hopefully it was early lunch).
Today was also another beautiful day at the beach/pool. The kids made tied dyed shirts poolside and made JJ throw them in the air at least a gazillion times (or maybe that was me, til I got the right shots).
