This weekend we traveled to Blowing Rock, NC to continue the Dewar family tradition. And in keeping with tradition, we stayed at yet a different hotel and had an adventure as always. Where in the past we frequented the Green Park Inn – famous for its ghosts from the 1920s, this year we elected to visit the Hemlock Inn – famous for its lack of heat in 20 degree weather and power outages. Although, I will have to give it props for its close proximity to downtown shopping and dinner. That saved us a few crying fits that usually are the results of a ride in the car seat. All in all it was a great weekend and we got a good tree to boot. Now Cailee and I are working hard to avoid the cold that plagued JJ all last week.
