Ain’t that the truth… we are definitely the lucky ones. Connor’s tractor party boasted of a real deal tractor hooked up to the trailor for hay rides, a pretty darn cool tractor cake, a barnyard bean bag toss, sensory table full of corn + tractors (ideas courtesy of Pinterest, all the legwork courtesy of JJ), a chicken egg hunt, lots of gifts, tons of family and friends, good eats (who doesn’t love some Bo’s biscuits and corn), and so much more.
Connor was spoiled with lots of monster trucks, an awesome mack truck and helicoptor, tractors and tractors gear, some luggage to tote his cars and trucks around and a bunch more.
Connor got to celebrate with Riley (or Rally as he calls her, with a strong southern twang), McKinley, Isabella, Audrey, Liam, Grayson, GG & Gdaddy Dewar, GG & Gdaddy Herrman, Uncle John and Courtney, Eddie and Melanie, Tracy, Anna and Jonathan, Uncle Dave and Jen, of course, Cailee, Mommy and Daddy, and Bailey.
Having the party at the Dewar “farm” was a real treat – made our tractor party feel pretty darn legit.
Some random things worth noting:
– Connor only collected the green tootsie rolls from the pinata – not sure if he was trying to keep with the theme or not
– We used a ginormous sparkler candle (a legit firework) for Connor’s cake. He was pretty amazed by it.
– The parent’s favorite activity was the tractor ride – it meant a few minutes of knowing just where everyone was without having to chase them all over the yard
– The sensory table was quickly repurposed as a corn fight station, the kids had a blast
Best to let the pictures do the rest of the talking…
