Pink hair anyone?

So before the wedding Cailee decided she wanted a streak of pink hair. We said no, not Til after the wedding, expecting that pink hair didn’t really go with the Courtney’s theme. I have to admit there was a part of me that thought she would forget about it too.  But we were not so lucky, two weeks after the wedding she woke up asking for pink hair again. 

I am sure most parents will think it’s over the top for a seven year old but when I think about all the ways that my daughter could choose to express her individuality, some pink hair that will fade in time seems to be not that big of deal.  I did question myself when it was actually being dyed, I’m not gonna lie. 

So here’s the Cailee’s pink hair, which she loves by the way (and I think I do too). I think it’s added a bit of spunk in her personality already.
