This past week was Cailee’s Mother’s day luncheon. As I have the last three years, I really enjoyed it and I didn’t even think of the significance until one of the other mother’s had to bring up the fact that this would be her last one. Thinking of that was the only thing that put a slight damper on the mood (tear!).
The thing I loved most besides spending dedicated mommy time with my girl was watching my daughter play with her girl friends. She’s really come out of her shell this year and it’s been sweet to see her form some good relationships with some really good girls.
