Speaking of parties – hands down, our own birthday parties are our favorite. This year, Cailee, my favorite, yet extremely spoiled, just about to be seven year old, had two parties. First up was Cailee’s Spa-tacular seventh birthday party at Tiffani’s new venture Moments. This was a big deal for me as it was the first time I allowed someone else to host one of my kid’s parties – but you know me, I couldn’t let go entirely. So I had to add my own touches with decorations, candy bar and spa robes/flip flops as favors.
It was so sweet though – all the girls (Cailee, Carrington, Addison, Riley, McKinley, Emory, Audrey, Isabella) got face masks, hairdos, and manicures. There were finger foods, cake, the best cookies ever (courtesy of Melanie Hamlett) and they each got to make sugar scrub and lip gloss. Quite frankly, had it been totally in my control I couldn’t have come close to making it this great. I mean, they had four stylists fawning over 8 girls the entire time, in an adorable spa/salon.
Of course, Cailee loved being the center of attention and when it came time for gifts it was obvious everyone knew Cailee is a shopkins-fanatic – I think just about everyone gave her something shopkins related.
