Shark fishing

The one thing I’ll say about Hilton Head, there was a lot for the kids to do. Typically, you go to the beach and you go to the beach (duh), but Disney sets the bar for a packed schedule and I suppose that was still a little in my system. Thank goodness for a well informed momma/blogger (no not me, another momma blogger), she gave some great recommendations for how to enjoy Hilton Head with kiddos. One of those ideas was the Gypsy Kids Cruise. It left at 9:00 from South Beach (walking distance for us) and the kids threw nets for shrimp (Connor caught a shell), and fished for baby shark. I’m personally glad that we did this little trip towards the end of the week, affter seeing at least 5 Atlatic pointed nose shark in person, it was hard to erase the idea of these little buggars swimming around my ankles. And no, we didn’t catch anything but the kids had fun trying.
